This page is not intended to put down the English Bulldog breed, in fact we really like the breed. There is just so much confusion between the popular English Bulldog or Bulldog (EB for short ) and the rare Olde English Bulldogge (OEB for short). We are just letting you know that there are differences between these two separate breeds (other than the spelling of the names)! This breed was created by crossing the original bulldogs with probably the Pug. This breed would not survive without human intervention since many cannot breed naturally or give birth naturally. There are a few EB breeders whose dogs have good hips and are without all the health issues, so please do your research before purchasing one. They seem to be going through a fad right now and many people are getting into breeding them just for the $! |
