| Hi Tania, I hope all is well! I attached a couple pics. He seems like he has changed so much since we first brought him home. He is a feisty little guy when he is awake and as soon as he starts to get a lil sleepy he is the biggest sweetheart and just wants to cuddle. He also has a love of socks! on the feet and off lol a few times he has ran out of our room with a sock in his mouth. All in all though he has been the greatest puppy, everyone he meets falls in love. I hope you guys were able to enjoy this memorial day weekend. Take care! Love Kim, Jeff and Porterhouse :) |
| Its been awhile, figured I would send you an update! Porterhouse went to the vet today he is 20lbs! Dr. McClure says he is doing great. He is such a loveable little rascal. He seems to have a lot of black spots on his skin but not on his fur, we only see them after a bath...looks almost like a dalmation! the brown spots on his ears have gotten darker too. He is just too damn cute! He has made lots of other puppy friends too :) there is a dog every week at Jeff's baseball games and all he wants to do is give her kisses. He is a little stubborn when we go for walks but he loves to play fetch! he has also learned to come when called, to sit and to give paw to shake. | Hi, Porterhouse went to the vet yesterday for his 2nd shot, I wasn't able to go with him but Jeff took him. I was told he was a very good boy that he had all the girls in an uproar over how cute he is, that happens everywhere he goes though. They weighed him in at 14.7, I don't want him to grow so fast! they also trimmed his nails and he didn't mind a bit. His next appointment is 3 weeks from now. Glad you liked the pictures, I will send some more next week. |
| Hi, yes the black spots around his eyes are getting bigger, the right eye has a nice line of black on the bottom and the left eye still has that black tear mark but the outside corner is lined black. I was comparing the pictures of his momma and daddy with him and at first I thought no his ears flop forward like his mom's but he also folds them back a lot too like his daddy's all depending on what he is doing. I don't know if eventually they will look a certain way or what, maybe as he gets bigger they might fold back more. He is such a funny puppy though, he just always cracks us up. We got him a soccer ball that he can't puncture and he head butts it and kicks it all over the yard, I think he could run around all day with that thing if we let him. Hope all is well, take care! |
| Hi Tania and the rest of the gang! I'm so sorry its been so long since the last time I sent you an update on Reno aka Porterhouse. We have been a busy little family this summer, he has gotten to love his walks through the neighborhood. I know all the names of the dogs in the neighborhood better than the names of the neighbors themselves. He is a real sweet puppy, such a little lover! His favorites are rawhide rollups....and shoes! He is also a great fetcher! he loves to play in the yard with his soccer ball he rolls around it and head butts it everywhere. He is really good with other animals, he is very calm quiet and curious when he meets new dogs even when they are barking and jumping around, but once they calm down then Porterhouse is ready to play with them lol. Everywhere we go he gets compliments from everyone and he loves the attention. The last one that is face on of him is what he looks like when he is woken up! he has also outgrown his lil puppy bed but he still loves to sleep in it. Take care! ~Kim, Jeff & Porterhouse :) |
| Thanks so much for the card! it was soo cute! Porterhouse had a nice birthday today! hopefully all the other pups did too! There is a local doggie bakery here that sells all of these natural dog treats and we ordered him a peanut butter dog bone cake, even though he could have ate the whole thing he did save a lot of it to share with some of his puppy friends :) Hope all is well with everyone! | Last week we took him tawas state park for the day to visit some friends camping and we walked him to the beach and he wanted nothing to do with the water! he did however have a blast digging in the sand! take care! |
| Porterhouse is doing great, growing up fast and strong. He has a tendency to stick his bottom lip out and look at you and I swear he is thinking "if I just pout and look at them with my big puppy dog eyes I can never get in trouble" lol he is so silly and a very big sweetheart. | Wow those pictures are great, I can't believe the size difference between those two! Porterhouse is 70.2 lbs and I would say roughly 19 inches tall from shoulders. We hope that sometime this summer all the dogs can meet up somewhere, maybe a dog park or someplace. The pictures that I attached are all very recent, the ones outside are from this week and then there is a picture of Porterhouse and his best lil buddy Stoli the cat and then the last picture is of the pup just waking up in one of his favorite places...our bed :) Can't wait to see pictures of all the other pups and see how they have grown!
